One of my passion is traveling, we are planning to have a vacation after my husband's retirement early next year. And I personally love to travel to a wonderful place called Ring of Kerry in Ireland. Since we love outdoors this is the best vacation that fits both of us, great walks, the sea, great mountains and laced with the history of this country Ireland. It is possible to use any of the towns along the Ring as starting point as it is a circular route. From Killarney take the N70 to Killorglin along the side of the River Laune. Killorglin is known worldwide for its annual horse and cattle fair, the “puck Fair”. Continue on to the picturesque village of Glenbeigh a popular holiday destination for families due to the Blue Flag beach, which is located just beyond the village at Rossbeigh. The cliff section of the road between Glenbeigh and Cahersiveen offers spectacular costal views. Visit the Barracks Heritage Centre, which is superbly located in the former Royal Irish Constabulary barracks.Continue to Waterville, a picturesque village frequented by many famous visitors. The next point of interest is at the Coomakesta Pass, where you can take in the views over the Kenmare River, Scarrif and Deenish Islands.Visit Derrynane House, the home of Daniel O’Connell, which is just before the village of Catherdaniel. The house is part of the extensive Derrynane National Park, a paradise for botanists and ornithologists, which includes a nature trail and one of Ireland’s most outstanding beaches. Another must see is a visit to the Staigue Fort, which is one of the largest and finest examples of a circular stone fort in Ireland. From the Staigue Fort, visit the picturesque village of Sneem. Continue east to the Heritage Town of Kenmare. Visit the Heritage centre, which outlines the history of the town and its famous visitors. From Kenmare, travel north to Killarney via Moll’s Gap and Ladies View, with breathtaking views of the spectacular Lakes of Killarney. Returning to Killarney stop at the spectacular 60ft Torc Waterfall.
So its gonna be an adventures for us and I am pretty excited to witness this spectacular place that wanting to see with my two eyes. Good thing that I told my husband about this site, and we have agreed to travel with this country.
