US Citizen Pretty Soon

We are still waiting for my appointment at US Immigration for my citizenship. We've already received a receipt and hoping soon the date of Interview. I am eager to get it done (the citizenship) before end of this year. I am pretty exciting to have a blue passport and travel around the world in hassle free. I want to have a dual citizenship but now Ive decided to put the Philippine and US Flags in our garage to show how proud I am with my roots. Now the rewarding part hb promised that we are going to have an Orlando vacations after this stressing process finally done. I deserve it anyway Im looking forward to hug Mickey Mouse and friends lol.

Tayong Dalawa Final Episode

Pretty sad it was ended yesterday. The story is superb and I was really hook with this show since we've subscribed The Filipino Channel (TFC) late last year. Strong Typhoon Hit Manila Philippines

While reading about the hgh reviews online I was really stunned about the live News telecast of The Filipino Channel (TFC) about the strong typhoon hit in the Philippines particularly in Metro Manila area and nearby provinces yesterday. Double The Space Area

When I went back for 2 months vacation early this year I have a chance to organized again our house. I am very particular about organizing stuffs. Well I want my bedroom have enough space from bulky stuffs so I purchased a TV mounts for my flat screen TV. The outcome was great and double the bedroom space area.

My Canon Lens

I just bought another lens for my Canon SLR last week. It was arrived 2 days ago and still don't have a chance to playing with it since I'm busy with my application of US citizenship lately. Still want to have that Macro lens but I cant afford this time because my online job is way too slow. Oh well, better satisfied to have this lens and soon I'll purchase online a Macro lens if my budget permits.

Banana Cake

I have to admit that I am not fond of eating banana and baking banana cake is the best idea for a bunch of bananas in the kitchen counter. In that way I easily eat them and never toss at the garbage bin. So I am surfing for the simple yet moist banana cake in the net earlier and glad that I found the easiest preparation of baking a banana cake surprisingly it turns out good and moist. I even dig few slices that I forget that I'm on diet lately. So tell me do I need a diet pills asides from exercising regularly this time. I cant help it to please my big appetite.

Attend Wedding Today

Late this afternoon hb will coming home to wear a descent clothes for his friends wedding. They both invited us both I've decided to stay home and get rid of yummy foods that they served at the reception. Why? I'm on strict diet lol and staying home is the best way to get rid of sumptuous foods that they served. Well better satisfied from surfing the net later for an industrial hand wheels that hb begging me to look online. His Uncle badly need one for his farm.

Upgrade His Car Accesories

Hubby wants to look for a rear spoiler for his teenage son's car that he bought early this year. This is a birthday gift that he received from us and being a teenager he wants his toy have an upgrade version in car accessories. Its not a brand new though but we are proud that he really take good care of the car that we bought. Now, we have to get an affordable rear spoiler for an early Christmas treat for him. I'm still wish it suit our budget.

Snowing in September

Yes, you heard it right! We were still in shock that last night its snowing in our place. Today marks the Fall season but we are most welcome with a snowy weather. I even went outside earlier after hubby going to work to feel the freezing temperature( I'm weird!). Don't blamed me after experiencing a scorching heat during Summer I am back with my favorite time of the year the Winter season. Loving the cold temperature especially if the hot chocolates on the sight and staring in the window pane (perfect moment) lol.

My Adorable Niece Mikee

I just talking over the phone with my niece Mikee . Glad that she wakes up early and grab the phone in our living room when it rings. I often called my Mother every 4 in the morning (PI time)and I was really laugh when my niece was the one who grab the phone. I talk to her for about an hour and laughing out loud when she talks like a young adult. She's just turn 4 years old last July and wish that I am able to talk and hold her in flesh.

Patrick Swayze dies at 57

Patrick Swayze personified a particular kind of masculine grace both on and off screen, from his roles in films like "Dirty Dancing" and "Ghost" to the way he carried himself in his long fight with pancreatic cancer. Swayze died from the illness on Monday in Los Angeles. He was 57.

Fans of the actor were saddened to learn in March 2008 that Swayze was suffering from an especially deadly form of cancer. He continued working despite the diagnosis, putting together a memoir with his wife and shooting "The Beast," an A&E drama series for which he had already made the pilot.

Swayze said he chose not to use painkillers while making "The Beast" because they would have taken the edge off his performance. The show drew a respectable 1.3 million viewers when the 13 episodes ran this year, but A&E said it reluctantly decided not to renew it for a second season.

When he first went public with the illness, some reports gave him only weeks to live, but his doctor said his situation was "considerably more optimistic" than that. Swayze acknowledged that time might be running out given the grim nature of the disease.

Noynoy Aquino will run for President in 2010

The son of former Philippine President Cory Aquino, heroine of the 1986 people power movement, said on Wednesday he would run for the presidency next May.

Senator Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino's decision to join the presidential race is likely to win the backing of several opposition groups, propelling him to a place among the front-runners for the post.

At least half a dozen other candidates, mostly senators, have said they will contest next year's vote, but analysts say no one has a clear edge. Nominations close in November.

Analysts have said Aquino will have much to do to translate the affection and respect for his parents into votes for himself, as he has not had an impressive record in his 11 years as lawmaker.

Pressure on Noynoy Aquino to run has been immense since his mother died last month. Hundreds of thousands of people poured onto the streets for her funeral -- the biggest crowd seen in the Philippines since the 1986 "People Power" revolution that ousted dictator Ferdinand Marcos and swept Cory Aquino to power.

Days and weeks after Cory's death, people had left hundreds of flowers and dozens of messages outside the family home in the Quezon City suburb, urging Noynoy to run.

Noynoy's father, Benigno, was a senator who opposed Marcos and was killed when he returned home from political exile in 1983.

World's oldest person dies in Los Angeles at 115

Although she liked her bacon crispy and her chicken fried, she never drank, smoked or fooled around, Gertrude Baines once said, describing a life that lasted an astonishing 115 years and earned her the title of oldest person on the planet.

It was a title Baines quietly relinquished Friday when she died in her sleep at Western Convalescent Hospital, her home since she gave up living alone at age 107 after breaking a hip.

She likely suffered a heart attack, said her longtime physician, Dr. Charles Witt, although an autopsy was scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.

Baines was born in Shellman, Ga., on April 6, 1894, when Grover Cleveland was in the White House, radio communication was just being developed and television was still more than a half-century from becoming a ubiquitous household presence.

Her vote for Obama, she added, had helped fulfill a lifelong dream of seeing a black man elected president.

She became the world's oldest person in January when Maria de Jesus died in Portugal at 115.

I am eating mashed avocado with milk right now. I bought 10 pieces yesterday at the store because they are on sale. Usually it sell for $2.99 each but since its Summer they are selling it for a dollar per piece.

Lantern for Christmas

When I have a chance to went back home last April. One of my priorities are to brought with me back in US a Capiz Christmas Lantern for this coming Holiday. Too bad that its still middle of the year and I don't know where to buy it in advanced LOL. Its gonna be a pricey one if I push through but back on my mind it is really worthy to brought it back here since its made from shells. I'm scared it turns into small pieces after the long and two lay over flights. Hope I can order it online soon.

It's Beginning to look a lot like Christmas

As what the Christmas song goes.... Hey its September and its officially the beginning of long Christmas celebration for Filipinos. I know the malls, big establishments and streets in the Philippines starting to put up a decorations even the radio stations plays Christmas songs til the Christmas day is over. (What a long celebration!). Sniff, how I wish we have a chance to go back home to celebrate Christmas with my family but its impossible since we just got back from Philippine vacation couple of months ago. So here's my Christmas decorations last year! and still thinking about my theme this coming Holiday.

Cake for Dessert

Cake for dessert please? It lingers in my mind LOL but I have to keep away with this tempting loaded calories dessert that ruin my entire diet plan. It's TC who brought this cake when he got home. I just want to toss it at the garbage bin but back in my mind I just throwing money out of nothing. Hmmmmmp really pissed me off and I want to dig to eat this cake till its out of my sight.

Prime time on the Internet is 11 p.m.(Study Shows)

Since my life revolves with online world I take a pause and read this study about the peak time where people mostly online. So here's the full information below:

It's 11 p.m. Do you know where your neighbors are?

Chances are they're online. According to a study, North Americans have been staying up late to do their Internet surfing this summer, so late that the peak usage for the whole day has been at 11 p.m. Eastern time.

That appears to be a shift from previous years, when most Internet activity was in the daytime.

The new study by Chelmsford, Mass.-based Internet security firm Arbor Networks found that people using the Internet at work and school produce a smaller traffic peak around 4 p.m. Eastern time on weekdays.

Internet activity then declines as people head home. At 8 p.m. Eastern, U.S. and Canadian home Internet traffic starts spiking, and stays surprisingly strong past midnight, Arbor found. At 2 a.m. Eastern, overall traffic is as high as it is at 9 a.m., when people are logging in at work.

Of course, 11 p.m. Eastern time is just 8 p.m. on the West Coast. But the Eastern and Central time zones account for three-quarters of the U.S. population, so it's clear there's lot of late-night traffic.

It also seems North Americans are staying up much later on the Internet than Europeans. Their traffic peaks when it's 9 p.m. in Western and Central Europe, and then drops sharply.

So what is it that keeps us up at night?

Internet video, including both YouTube and pornography, appears to be a big part of the answer, according to Arbor's Craig Labovitz. Video usage peaks at midnight Eastern, later than any other traffic.

Gaming is another big evening activity, but one that's most intense between 8 p.m. and 11 p.m. Eastern, coinciding with TV's prime time for most Americans. Labovitz found a jump in gaming traffic at exactly 8 p.m. Eastern, and speculates that it's caused by "World of Warcraft" players who prearrange to get together at that time to tackle virtual monsters.
