Christmas is in the Air

Yes... I am so excited to celebrate Christmas this year in our place. I do really missing decorating the whole place even outside because we've been celebrating last year Christmas back home. Now I cant wait to dig all our Christmas stuffs in the storage and starting to decorate as early on Thanksgiving Day. Its so nice to shop early too because its our traditional already that we are going to gave gifts to our friends and family. Two years ago we've been sending the gifts in advanced to received it before Christmas Day. So glad that my step Son's wife really loved the bath sea salt for her Christmas gift that we've sent. Now, we have to jot down all our friends and family to shop early for Christmas presents.

Get Rid of Habit Form Sleeping Pills

Mom have a Doctors appointment last week and he recommended that she should get rid of taking a habit form of sleeping pills or else shes going very soon in opiate detox treatment for detoxify herself. Good thing that she is really following Doctors advised even though its hard for her at first because shes been taking a sleeping pills for years. I even told her that she's going to be alright soon all she needs to do is to take religiously her Doctors advice. Its been more than week now and shes still battling about it but I know one day she's back on the right track. Anyway, I really dont have any clue what I am going to prepare for tonight's dinner. I just thaw the whole package of shrimp and just let my husband decide later LOL.

Congrats Miss Philippines

I am so proud that the representative of Miss Philippines Shamcey Supsup made a 3rd runner up in Miss Universe 2011 held at Paulo, Brazil last night. Hoping she won the crowd because of her performance and online ranking. She even got the 2nd place at Swimsuit and Long Gown competition and top one of online voting so I doubt it that she never grabbed the title this year. But anyway everything is in the judges hand so I am so happy that she made the top 5 and bagged the 3rd runner up out of 89 contestants. Every Filipino around the world are so proud of you... Congratulation!

Hunting Season is Fast Approaching

Its linger in my mind all day long and its past 12 noon and never take my long nap just thinking of where can I buy a garmin nuvi gps that my husband reminding me last night LOL. Goodness I am really dont know if I am going to raid the stores later to look for a gps system or just surfing at the net and order it online. Well his really excited for this years hunting season and his ready to juggle with his friends in the jungle. He already bought necessary stuffs for the said occasion and I am just happy seeing him happy with his hubby hunting wild games just to ease the stressful life in the office. He bought a four wheeler with a trailer and just want to bring along with him in the jungle so its so easy for him to roam around to look for deers or elk. Now his asking me to look for a gps system for his four wheelers and hoping I can get one before his coming home few hours from now.

Undecided to Send Boxes for Christmas

Oh Christmas is just around the corner and its been almost a year since we went back home to spent the Christmas season with my family. Its my husband first Christmas in the Philippines so its really odd for him how Filipinos loves to celebrate this season. Good thing that the 2 balikbayan boxes that we've sent earlier before our flight were arrived at the right time so the whole family was very excited to get their shares. Well, the agent already informed me last week if we want to send boxes back home for Christmas season but I am still undecided if we are going to pursue it or just sending them money for their Christmas gifts. I know I have already accumulated a lot of stuffs especially chocolates that ready to put into the boxes to send home. Its not too late anyway so if we decided to send boxes then I will go shopping non stop LOL and good thing that I have a aeropostale coupons to save me money buying those cute shirts for my teenage nephew.

Sauted Mung Beans

Its my all time favorite! Good thing that the Asian store is in the corner so if I really craving for sauteed mung beans then I have to rush to shop at the store. I don't know how I love this simple dish and I never tired eating it for the whole week. Lately I am hook with Rice Noodles with a tons of vegetables and Im still store it at the fridge and trying to reheat it during lunch and dinner.

They Meet Again After Years

My Mother In Law will be going to have a late Summer vacation in her best friend place in Philadelphia next week. She is very excited to see her again after years that they've seen each other. I think they were best of friends that my husband told me that he was adopted with this family when he was still 12 years old because of the family problem that they been experienced when they were still young. We never forget to sent her a Christmas present every Holiday season and was able to called my husband once in a while at her old age. Well she was moving in Philadelphia for good to personally managed all her investments and that's include the real estates that she owned from her parents.
